The March 13 National Journal featured a story on Thorn Run's newest Partner.
Daniel Bates is the newest addition to Thorn Run Partners, a lobbying firm launched in January. The bipartisan venture is the joint effort of Democrat Andy Rosenberg and Republican Chris Lamond, who left Ogilvy Government Relations to start their own shop. Bates will be a partner, dividing his time between Washington and Portland, Ore., where he most recently served as the city's chief lobbyist. Before that, he spent five years in the legislative practice group at Patton Boggs.
